We are looking for an enthusiastic DevOps engineer to implement online products and services. You will also be responsible for collaboration on various aspects of the web platform with external partners comprising of engineers and developers.
DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)
Setup, manage and maintain front- and back-end web services
Integrate the IT infrastructure operating on public/private cloud platforms
Participate in the evolution of the platform architecture, in the development of new features as well as in bug fixing
Become the “product owner” for outsourced services/accounts (e.g. web hosting)
Develop novel solutions within the IT infrastructure
Write and maintain documentation for technical procedures
Responsible for system administration e.g. user management, etc
Assist with system backup and recovery services and system administration tools and processes, e.g. user administration, networking, file servers
Work with an interdisciplinary team of scientists and business developers
Advanced knowledge of modern web development technologies
Knowledge of database systems (e.g. mySQL, MariaDB, etc.)
Test driven development mind-set
Strong command of English
Excellent communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Highly motivated and willing to learn
